April Evans is a yoga instructor that teaches full time privately and publicly in Manhattan and is a proud member of New York Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training staff. In this podcast, April shares her insights and advice of being a successful yoga teacher.

April’s relationship to yoga began in 2005 while she was earning her BFA in Acting. Her practice began as a tool for increasing the body’s flexibility, strength, focus, and balance. Since then yoga and meditation have begun to affect her inner life in all the same ways.

April is a graduate of New York Yoga’s 200 Hour Training and Sonic Yoga’s 300 Hour Training. She is currently completing the 100 Hour MetaAnatomy Training at ISHTA and her Sva Dharma Project and Kalari Vinyasa certification with Shiva Rea. She loves creative sequencing and incorporates clear themes and intentions into her classes.
